In 1975, the ice rink was opened, at that time without a roof. On 6.12.1981 the roof of the ice rink fell down. The construction of a new roof, this time with a wooden structure, was undertaken by Armabeton Praha.
The ice rink in its present form was completed and reopened in June 1988.
The ice rink has two stands. One stand is designed for seating and has a capacity of 480 seats. The second stand is designed for standing and has a capacity of 800-1000 seats.
The ice surface has dimensions of 58 x 28 m.
