Rudolf\u2019s Spring originated in the meadows in \u00da\u0161ovice as Lu\u010dn\u00ed. The owner of the meadow, a farmer from \u00da\u0161ovice, refused to sell the land to the monastery even for a multiple of the price without doing anything with the spring himself. The monastery eventually bought the neighbouring land and withdrew the spring by drilling. <\/p>

In 1902, the spring was named Rudolf, after the Crown Prince and heir to the throne after Franz Joseph I.<\/p>

Rudolf established the reputation of Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 L\u00e1zn\u011b as a spa for the treatment of urinary tract diseases. The water of Rudolf\u2019s Spring is used for drinking both on site in a beautiful wooden pavilion, and is brought to the colonnade of Rudolf\u2019s and Caroline\u2019s Spring and the Cross Spring Pavilion for collection. <\/p>

According to the balneological classification, it is a natural, weakly mineralised ferric acid of the bicarbonate-calcium-magnesium type with an increased content of silicic acid, cold, hypotonic. Used in diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract. The spring is characterized by a high content of calcium, which is extremely important for the healthy development of the child\u2019s organism and for adults. <\/p>

One litre of this healing mineral water can cover about 30 % of the daily calcium requirement. The human body needs this element especially for the construction and renewal of bone tissue and teeth, but also for maintaining blood clotting, for conducting nerve impulses and for muscle activity. <\/p>

Magnesium is an equally important component of this healing water. Magnesium is beneficial in the prevention of heart and vascular diseases and coronary sclerosis. <\/p>

The iron content of the spring is a valuable source of this element in the treatment of patients after surgery and to support the treatment of anaemia. Iron is present in the mineral water in a divalent form, which is better used by the body than iron from preparations. <\/p>

Rudolf\u2019s spring has no laxative effects, but its diuretic effect is significant, leading to the flushing out of small stones, sand, bacteria and products of inflammation. It also helps rehabilitate the operated sections of the urinary tract. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
