There are over a hundred mineral springs in the area. The springing of such different springs in close proximity on a small area is a balneological rarity not only in Bohemia but also in the whole of Europe. This is evidenced by the two-hundred-year tradition of spa industry built on the healing power of springs.   <\/p>\n<p>The first spa season in Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 L\u00e1zn\u011b began at the beginning of the 19th century. Individual mineral springs are used for drinking cures and mineral baths.  <\/p>\n<p>In 1818, the place was declared a public spa town, the first visitors began to arrive and the fame of the spa began to spread all over the world. Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 L\u00e1zn\u011b is one of eleven exceptional spa towns from seven countries that are seeking to be inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the international nomination \u201cFamous Spas of Europe\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>The town of Marianske Lazne also takes care of the satisfaction of its guests in its cultural offer. Concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, lectures, workshops and dance evenings are a matter of course. The atmosphere of Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 L\u00e1zn\u011b as a cultural town is completed by regularly recurring cultural events and festivals.  <\/p>\n<p>How to gain strength, regenerate and relax your mind and body?<\/p>\n<p>Learn to relax, regenerate your body and strengthen your immunity through spa treatments!<br \/>Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 L\u00e1zn\u011b offers excellent opportunities for sports activities \u2013 golf, tennis, hiking, Nordic walking, cycling, fitness, squash, badminton, bowling and great conditions for horse riding.<\/p>\n<p>The surrounding area is interwoven with hiking and cycling trails that lead through the protected landscape area of Slavkovsk\u00fd les.<br \/>In winter, they turn into 50 km of daily maintained cross-country ski trails.<\/p>\n<p>The winter ski area for downhill skiing, with artificial snow, 2 lifts and a cable car, with day and evening operation is 800 m away from our hotel.
